Manufacturing of Juntai UV Precipitator
The production methods for extrusion sizers and thermoforming sizers are quite distinct despite their similar functions. In the extrusion process, plastic raw material is forced through a mold to form a specific shape, similar to how you might shape Play-Doh into spaghetti as a child. The extruded tube settlers usually have a "V" - shaped profile with tongues and grooves on both sides. These extruded shapes are then arranged side - by - side and in a back - and - forth manner. This arrangement creates a tubular channel similar to that of a thermoformed tubular settler module.
However, a major drawback of extruded tubing compared to thermoformed tubing is the absence of wavy (or flat) sections. This design flaw means that a stronger and more complex support system is required, as extruded tubes cannot support the same spans without support as thermoformed tubes. Consequently, the material and installation costs of the support system for extruded tube settlers are generally much higher.

Optimized for Diverse Scenarios
- Municipal STP Upgrades: Replace outdated lamella plate settler systems with Juntai's tube settler clarifier to boost capacity without expanding tank footprints.
- Industrial Wastewater: Handle high-load solids in mining or chemical effluents using pvc tube settler media resistant to acidic/alkaline conditions.
- Compact Installations: Ideal for space-constrained sites requiring tube settler tank solutions with minimal maintenance.
Why Choose Juntai's Tube Settler Media?
- Long-Term Durability: UV-resistant PP tube settler modules withstand harsh climatic conditions, ensuring 10+ years of service life.
- Global Compliance: Meets ISO 9001 and EN 12255 standards for tube settlers water treatment applications.
- Customizable Designs: Tailor tube settler system layouts (e.g., lamella tube configurations) to match specific flow rates and TSS levels.
Juntai UV Tube Settler Configuration
The Juntai UV Tube Settler precipitator utilizes multiple adjacent tubular channels that are angled at approximately 60 degrees. This setup increases the effective settling area. The shorter particle settling depths achieved by this configuration allow the tube settler channels to collect solids and form a compact mass, which facilitates the sliding of solids down the channels. Tube settlers are an economical way to upgrade existing clarifiers and settling tanks, enabling increased flow rates and/or improved performance. They can also reduce the space required for new clarifier construction.
